I'm Onielia, a recent Communication graduate passionate about strategy and storytelling.

 

During my undergraduate studies, I gained hands-on experience in advertising, public relations, journalism, marketing, and more — all of which you'll see reflected throughout this portfolio. From working as a public relations intern to competing in NSAC and serving as a publication editor, each role has shaped me into the well-rounded professional I am today.

But my motivation and inspiration go beyond academics. As an international student from Jamaica, I bring a unique perspective grounded in cultural experience. I proudly embody the Jamaican phrase "mi likkle but mi tallawah" —small but mighty.

 

Coming from a country rich in creative expression, I’ve always been drawn to the arts. I spent my formative years performing — singing, dancing, and acting in competitions — and while I may not be on stage as often now, I channel that same creative energy into everything I do in communication, from crafting pitches to writing compelling stories.

I look forward to continuing to grow in unique ways and am dedicated to creating meaningful connections and crafting memorable experiences.
